TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Bonnie “JoAn” Moore, 83, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.

 JoAn died Aug. 31, 2018, iin the Alzheimer Unit at Goshen Healthcare Community in Torrington. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer Unit. Colyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. 

JoAn was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Yoder, the daughter of Harry and Mary (Storm) Malone. She grew up and received her education in Yoder, graduating high school there. She married Warren “Bud” Moore on Aug. 1, 1953, in Hawk Springs and they lived in Torrington for a while before moving to Yoder. They lived and raised their family there and then moved back to Torrington in 1993.

JoAn enjoyed playing the piano, crafting, spending time with family and mentoring children from St. Joseph Children’s Home on the weekends in her home.

JoAn is survived by her daughters Ginger (Tim) Cathcart of Douglas, Nancy (Randy) Senteney of Douglas and Mari (John) Sierocki of Cheyenne; a son Ryan, (Debbie) Moore of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud; two brothers, Cleo and Kenneth Malone; a sister, Darlyne Oldfather; and one grandson, Brian Moore.
