TORRINGTON – Three Torrington High School soccer players earned Class 3A All-State honors, and four earned 3A East All-Conference honors.
Sophomores Kaiden Riggs and Elijah Hatch and freshman Anthony Arnusch earned their first postseason awards.
Hatch and Arnusch ended the season ranked in the top 10 in Class 3A for points this season.
Arnusch scored nine goals and tallied seven assists for a total of 25 points, while Hatch scored 11 goals for 22 points.
Meanwhile, Riggs helped anchor the defensive line, aiding the Torrington goalkeepers – Griffin Wolfe and Ayden Shimic – to a season total of 98 saves.
The trio also earned 3A East All-Conference honors. Joining them was Greysen Shields, who was named to the all-conference honorable mention team.
Torrington ended the season with an 8-7 record and a fourth-place finish at the state tournament in Green River.
