Eastern Wyoming College mascot, Lloyd the Lancer, tries out the new anti-gravity treadmill during the open house for the Community Hospital Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, Jan. 18. Bringing Lloyd to life is EWC golf team member Jared Pilkington, a Scottsbluff, Neb. resident. EWC athletes will have access to the Alter G machine, which takes weight off the body, allowing for less stress when joints are undergoing therapy. The machine was created by NASA engineers.
