Andrew D. Brosig/Torrington Telegram - Southeast High School vocal musicians Quinton Steinbock, left, Bareth Haines and William Fluckiger ham it up on Friday in the music room at the school in Yoder. The three were among some 175 voices raised in song last month with the annual All-State Music Festival Choir, hosted by the Wyoming Music Educators Association at Cody High School.

YODER A trio of vocal musicians from Southeast High School got a chance to live the dream last month when weeks of hard work paid off with participation in the 2017 All-State Choir, hosted by the Wyoming Music Educators Association.

Each year, the All-State Music Festival brings hundreds of the top high school vocal and instrumental musicians together for 21/2 days of intense rehearsal in choir, band and orchestra. The festivals culminate with concert performances under the direction of nationally- and internationally-known guest conductors who share their expertise with the young musicians.

The 2017 festival was held Jan. 15-17 at Cody High School.
