Area teacher has the ‘Right Stuff’ after Space Camp

TORRINGTON – Torrington resident and area high school teacher Katie Juarez now has the “Right Stuff” to share with her students after attending a three-day Space Camp program for educators at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala. last month.

Juarez, who is a high school science teacher at Valley Alternative Learning Transition School (VALTS) in Scottsbluff, Neb., found out about the opportunity to attend Space Camp through social media.
