‘South Pacific’ coming to stage near you

TORRINGTON – Area residents can set sail to a tropical paradise of old as the Goshen Community Theatre presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “South Pacific” beginning March 21 in the Eastern Wyoming College Fine Arts Auditorium.

Adapted from James A. Michener‘s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, “Tales of the South Pacific”, the show stars WAVE officer Nellie Forbush, played by Johanna Swisher, who while stationed overseas during World War II falls in love with wealthy French planter Emile de Becque, played by Ezdan Fluckiger.
