TORRINGTON – Funeral services for Robin Clemens Teske, 47, will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Alan Osler officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
Robin died peacefully on Jan. 6, 2014 at the Torrington Community Hospital after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Visitation hours were held on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions in Robin’s memory to either the “Special Touch” program at Community Hospital or to Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter.

Robin was born Jan. 15, 1966, the daughter of Richard Clemens and Patty Lou (Jones) Clemens. She joined a 3-year-old sister, Shelly. She spent her first five years in Yoder, moving to Torrington when her parents divorced in 1971. In 1972, her mother remarried, and she gained a second father and three more sisters.
She completed her schooling in Torrington and spent time working in South Carolina and also Laramie, where she owned a clothing store. She moved back to Torrington and received her associate degree at Eastern Wyoming College. She was working in Colorado in 1981 when she received a kidney transplant.
In 1996, she married Kevin Teske and his daughter, Meranda. Kevin and Robin later separated, but Robin and Meranda remained close.
Robin spent the last 17 years of her life on dialysis and underwent a multitude of surgeries and procedures. She did so with faith, positive attitude and strength. She was an inspiration to many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her parents, Patty and Cliff Wood of Torrington, and Richard and Linda Clemens of Burlington, Wash.; her daughter, Meranda Teske; sisters, Jacque (Todd) Seiffert, Dana (Bill) Rounsborg, of Aurora, Colo., and Kari Cameron and Baydee Khan of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother, Ryan (Sonja) Clemens and his mother, Anna Clemens; grandfather, Marvin E. Jones, of Torrington; 14 nieces, nephews and spouses; along with six great nieces and nephews, and so very many friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shelly Clemens; nephew, Christopher Martinez; grandparents, Ralph and Wilma Clemens, Pam and Red Wood and Lucille Jones.
