Letter to the editor: The Constitution of the United States of America

We the people of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

It has been a long time since I looked at this fine output of words, which make a lot of of sense to me.

Article II, Section I

ďI do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.Ē

I just had to put this little piece in because it sounded so good. But, another thing, I canít see why the people count how many days they have to work in a year and how many days of vacation they can take in a year. No wonder they canít do anything; they forgot what they were doing from one vacation to another.

Now, the president is claiming to shut down Social Security on everyone. China is warning the USA about the debt line. Everyone knows we can print money again, but we still have to pay it back if we can get a straight answer from our senators and Congress.

I mean an answer would be OK if people could understand what Iíve been telling them. Stop being a giver to all the other countries like Syria and Egypt or enemies around the world. If we could recover that money, we would not have a debt limit. It could be paid down as much.
