TORRINGTON – The Torrington City Council passed a request from members of the Goshen County Economic Development Corporation (GCEDC) for an additional $40,000 to go along with last month’s approved $75,000 grant, which will match a grant from the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) for the new parking lot and public restroom project.

Demolition and abatement for the new parking lot project, located at the intersection 21st Avenue and East A Street, would now cost the city a total $115,000, which city officials said would be needed to receive application approval from the WBC.
