Possible changes looming for LFL football, team to hold community meeting Tuesday, Aug 27 at 6:30 p.m.

The Lingle-Fort Laramie football coaches and school staff have a major decision to make about the future of the football program. A community meeting will be held Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the LFL High School to get input from the community.


LINGLE – The Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) recently released its Average Daily Membership (ADM) numbers, and Lingle-Fort Laramie (LFL) High School’s enrollment fell below the new cutline separating Class 1A 11-man and Class 1A six-man football divisions that will take effect in the fall of 2014.

“We knew we were going to be close,” LFL athletic director and WHSAA board member Mike Lashley said.
