Mexican heritage intertwines with Panhandle history

LINGLE – The Western History Center continued its monthly guest speaker program last week with Jackie Cervantes-Guzman giving the full house a first-family account of “Mexican people in the Panhandle.”

Guzman has worked in the public school system working in second language classes working with other teachers to better understand cultural differences between students.
