TORRINGTON – With wind gusts approaching nearly 70 mph on Sunday, U.S. Highway 85 experienced a six-hour-long closure and some local residents went without power.
In a press release from Wyoming Highway Patrol (WPH), one trooper referred to Sunday’s weather as a “dirt blizzard.”
