City council approves joint resolutions

TORRINGTON – After being approached by Goshen County Commission Chairman Jim Hudelson, the Torrington City Council approved two large expenditures for a snowplow dump truck and software support at its March 5 meeting.

The purchases will be made using countywide consensus block money, which can be allocated based on a recommendation by the city of Torrington and Goshen County, since these two make up a large enough portion of Goshen County’s population to grant approval.
