Fairground entrance to get upgrade

TORRINGTON – The saying goes that you only get one chance to make a first impression, and, thanks to some state funding, the Goshen County Fairgrounds is going to get a makeover at its west entrance before fair time in August.

Though not a complete makeover, the work on the west entrance will give visitors a more inviting welcome to the fairgrounds.
