Local wrestlers set for state tourney

Photo No. 1 Torrington’s Jacob Hatley (top) is the second-ranked wrestler at 152-pounds heading into the state tournament. Photo No. 2 - Lingle-Fort Laramie’s T.C. Garvie (left) is 32-8 on the season and will look to improve on a fifth-place finish at last year’s state tournament. Photo No. 3 - Southeast’s Julian Preston will compete in the 160-pound weight class this weekend.

TORRINGTON – Thirty-six wrestlers from Torrington, Lingle-Fort Laramie and Southeast begin their quest a for state wrestling championship this morning in Casper.
