A salute to service

TORRINGTON – The Torrington Volunteer Fire Department hosted its annual Firefighter Banquet at the Elks Lodge on Saturday night.

Following a dinner, individuals were presented with awards based on years of service, percentage of calls responded to or some select specialty awards.
