Overpass work to force late night closures Wednesday

TORRINGTON – The area of U.S. Highway 26 between East D St. and East F St. in Torrington will close Wednesday between midnight and 5 a.m. for up to one hour at a time to set bridge girders, according to a Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) release.

Detours will not be posted for late-night travelers, WYDOT Resident Engineer Buck Klemola, as the agency cannot redirect traffic onto streets managed by other entities.
