TORRINGTON – Connie L. Addy, 65, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at her home in Torrington.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Doolin officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials may be made to the Lymphoma Cancer Association or Waggin’ Tails Animal Shelter.

Connie was born Sept. 8, 1947, in Torrington, the daughter of Joseph W. and Winnie (Sandburg) Young. She attended school in Torrington and later moved to Jackson, were she graduated high school in 1965.
Connie married Arnold Ferrin and moved to Florence, Ore. where she ran a golf course. They moved to Torrington in 1974. Connie worked at the court house, where she became the county clerk. Her total time working at the court house was 30 years.
She became county clerk in 1999 and worked until 2012. The couple divorced in 1975. On Nov. 8, 1991, Connie married Jim Addy.
She loved animals, especially her parrots. Connie also enjoyed camping, dancing and cooking. She loved to cook for her family at her house.
Connie was a member of the VFW Auxilary, Goshen County Republican Women and Wyoming County Clerk’s Association.
She is survived by her mother, Winnie Weber of Torrington; her brother, Larry (Jennifer) Young of Torrington; her sisters, Dee (Mike) Bott of Laramie and Deb Rodgers of Torrington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
