TORRINGTON – Senate File (SF) 104, which would limit the powers and duties of the Wyoming superintendent of public instruction, an elected official, and transfer them to a newly established, appointed position, the director of education, made its way through the House and Senate Friday and was under review of the governor as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Gov. Matt Mead will decide at 3 p.m. Tuesday, after press time, to sign or veto the bill.
