CHANDLER, Ariz. – Dale E. Clark died in Chandler, Ariz. on Jan. 11, 2013.
Dale was born in Torrington, son of H. Gordon Clark and Ruby France Clark of Lingle, and brother of Frances Colton of Arizona, Lola Zimmerman (former owner of Zimmerman’s Café in Torrington) and Helen McCutcheon of Cheyenne, all of whom preceded him in death.
Dale was educated in Lingle. He was a Marine in World War II. After his discharge, he married his wife, Harriett, and lived for a time in Powell, before moving to Ennis, Mont. to own and manage a small telephone company. He continued in that profession until, in the early 1970s, he sold the company and moved first to Wisconsin and then to Maryland, still working in the telephone industry.
He retired and, in the 1990s, moved to Arizona. Dale is survived by his wife, Harriett Clark, daughter Peggy Lea Redman, son Dale Clark, grand-daughters Lark Sundsmo and Iris Redman, grand-sons Cliff Redman and Glen Redman, great granddaughter Alaina Sundsmo, and great grandson Vincent Sundsmo.
