So, Matt Teeters and Hank Coe think it is better to have one man – supposedly the governor – choose who is in charge of Wyoming’s schools rather than the public at-large?
What happened to Wyoming’s so-called Republicans?
That sounds more like an Obama move than a Wyoming one. It appears to me that they are out to get the current superintendent of schools. Who is to say an appointed superintendent would be better?
And, as has been pointed out over the airwaves, an appointee is answerable to only the person who appoints her/him. Currently, the superintendent is answerable to the general public – if we care enough to be involved. If we don’t keep a sharp eye on the politicians, we’ll soon lose one more freedom.
