Senior wrestling trio leads Blazers past Bulldogs

TORRINGTON – According to coach Doyle Meyer, getting pins from seniors Isidro Cortez, Andrew Jarvis and Jose “MoMo” Martinez was a huge part of the Torrington Blazers 51-27 victory over the Wheatland Bulldogs Tuesday evening.

“It was a great to get a home win tonight,” Meyer said. “Many times after a tough tournament, such as the Shane Shatto from this past weekend, a team could have a letdown.”
