Hatley paces Blazers at Shane Shatto tourney

Torrington’s Jacob Hatley lifts a Cheyenne Central wrestler in the air last Thursday. Hatley later pinned his opponent, and he also won the 152-pound weight class at the Shane Shatto Tournament in Douglas.

TORRINGTON – The Torrington Blazers returned to the mat for the first time in 2013 Friday night and could not overcome a 24-point deficit after spotting the Cheyenne Central Indians an early 24-0 lead.

Due to opens at the 106- and 113-pound classes for Torrington, Blazer John Breeze kicked off the evening at the 126-pound class.
