Barrel racing series starts up again

TORRINGTON – Approximately 45 barrel racers, ranging in ages from 8 to 77, pulled pickups, horse trailers, horses and tack into the parking lots at the fairgrounds and opened up the 2013 Barrel Blast winter series of barrel racing. One came from as far away as South Dakota to compete in the one-day event.
