City approves funding for road projects

TORRINGTON – Following the oath of office for re-elected council member Randy Adams and new, incoming council member Bill Law, the Torrington City Council approved chip seal placement and a crack fill project for a total of $106,065.

Torrington Engineer Robert Juve explained the crack fill project was originally budgeted for $37,500 but came in at only $28,628, leaving $8,872 in available funding.
