County awarded a YMCA charter

File - Funding of the new facility was disclosed as a capital facilities one-cent sales tax.

Torrington – The Goshen County Community Facilities Joint Powers Board received approval for a Provisional License from the national office of the Y-USA for the purpose of developing a new corporate, non-profit YMCA in Goshen County.  The application for the license included a conceptual floor plan, a site plan, an operating budget and a construction estimate, all of which were validated by Y-USA for the approval.
