Teacher screening narrowly passes

TORRINGTON – With the three new members elected in November sitting in on their first meeting, the Goshen County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees narrowly approved TeacherInsight, a screening tool used as part of the application and hiring process in the district, at a cost of $7,910.

The motion passed by a 5-4 vote, with board members Valerie Peterson, Jeff McClun, Dean Harshberger and Lance Berry voting against the measure.
