TORRINGTON – Though recent autumn and early winter weather hasn’t been the most helpful, workers at Western Sugar Cooperative continue to progress in sugar beet processing.
Western Sugar Agricultural Manager Jerry Darnell said the Scottsbluff, Neb. and Torrington processing plants are at about the halfway point of beet processing for the 2012-13 season.
