Middle school wrestlers fare well at tournament

Torrington Middle School wrestlers Jacob Polkowske and Quentin Meyer do battle during the Maroon and Silver Duals. Polkowske finished third in the 85-pound division at the recent middle school tournament.

TORRINGTON – Torrington Middle School recently hosted a wrestling tournament that featured a number of area teams. The Blazer wrestlers finished fourth out of 10 teams.

Aaron Loya won the only individual title for the Blazers at the heavyweight division.
