Drought on the mind of beef convention attendees

TORRINGTON – The current drought was on the minds of most cattle producers who attended the sixth Southeast Wyoming Beef Producers Convention. Sponsored by the University of Wyoming’s (UW) Cooperative Extension Service, the beef producers convention covered a wide, but relevant, range of topics.

Speakers included Greg Hanes of the U.S. Meat Export Federation, Jim Robb of the Livestock Market Information Center, Jim Magagna of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association and Lingle’s own Steve Paisley of UW’s James C. Hageman Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center.
