Rural post offices will stay open but fewer hours

CASPER (AP) – Beginning in 2011, 45 post offices faced closure in hamlets that many Wyomingites had never heard of, places like Arvada and Frontier and Otto.

Some of the places were a few turns off the main route. Many didn’t have coffee shops or gas stations.
