TORRINGTON – Torrington High School (THS) chemistry students collected more than 150 canned goods for the Torrington Middle School backpack program.
Those canned goods, teacher Leslie Graul said, were used to model different chemical compounds and to teach the students about different types of chemical bonds. The positive cause speaks “very highly” of THS students, Graul wrote in an email to the Telegram.
