St. George, Utah – Donald Louis Carr, age 73, honorably passed away in his St. George, Utah, home surrounded by his beloved wife, Linda, and his six children.
Donald was born on July 5, 1939 and was an original cowboy. He loved ranching and baseball. He retired from Western Sugar in Torrington.
Donald was married to his amazing wife, Linda, for 51 years.
To his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Donald was the rock star of the family and was faithful to his religion.
He was both brilliant and charismatic and coined the family term, “Oh geeze,” for his son and daughters to emulate with pure reverence.
Donald served in the army and was a veteran, but his greatest accomplishment was his ability to connect with others.
He is survived by his wife, six children, 18 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Geneva and Louis Carr, and a son, Thomas Carr.
A Rosary was held in Donald’s honor on Nov. 14 at Worden’s Funeral Home at 7 p.m. in Newcastle.
