City revenue jumped $1.3 million

TORRINGTON – Fiscal year 2012 seemed to be a good one for the city of Torrington.

City Treasurer Lynette Strecker presented the year-end fiscal report to the Torrington City Council during Tuesday evening’s regular meeting. According to the report, the year-to-date net revenue for FY2012 was approximately $3.6 million, significantly above last fiscal year’s total of $2.3 million.
