Decision due Thursday for commissioner

TORRINGTON – Goshen County District Judge Keith Kautz heard from 11 Goshen County residents and county commissioner hopefuls, including the Lingle mayor, a Torrington city council member and a county employee, in the search to fill out the the third of two currently open seats on Friday, Nov. 2.

Kautz questioned Mel Eaton, Lois Van Mark, Vickie Zimmer, Larry Curtis, Louis Kuhnel, Ed Perry, Russell Walter, Richard Vonburg, Carl F. Rupp, Rodney Wagner and Jack Bottenfield as part of a hiring process that will end with the judge’s decision due on Thursday.
