THS freshmen team falls to Newcastle, defeat Gering

Torrington freshman Skyler Miller broke free on a 70-yard run for the Blazers’ only score on Monday in a 22-6 loss to the Newcastle Dogies in Newcastle. Despite the loss, coach Matt Bullington was pleased with the effort. “The kids played well, we were just outsized,” he said.

The Blazers also defeated Gering, Neb., 26-21 last night.
