Track work delays quiet zones

TORRINGTON – Progress toward local quiet zones is on the right track, but the track just got a little longer.

Torrington building official Dennis Estes said the construction of wayside horns at seven railroad crossings in Goshen County has been delayed by about six months due to the need for pre-construction crossing improvements.
