TORRINGTON – Planning ahead was the name of the game for the Eastern Wyoming College Board of Trustees during their last meeting.
The board approved the 2013-14 and 2014-15 academic calendars during last Wednesday’s monthly meeting. The most significant changes for the upcoming years involve starting first-week Monday night classes and adding Martin Luther King Day as a holiday. Martin Luther King Day falls on the third Monday in January and the day was brought up in discussions on how to celebrate diversity on the campus. The Leadership Team approved the addition of Martin Luther King Day to the holiday scheduled, effective July 2013.
