Free movie matinee supports breast cancer awareness

TORRINGTON – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Community Hospital will offer a free movie matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 for “Mamma Mia!” at the Wyoming Theatre for women of Goshen County.

The event – “Celebrating Women at the Movies” – aims to bring women together, celebrate survivors, encourage self-breast exams and promote mammogram screenings at Torrington Community Hospital with Community Hospital’s new Digital Mammography Equipment.

All attendees will get a free soda in a pink cup, a pink bag of popcorn and a small gift. No RSVP is necessary. For information, call 307-534-7167.
