Lady Lancers split weekend games

TORRINGTON – The Eastern Wyoming College Lady Lancers had mixed results last weekend.

The Lady Lancers (5-16) lost to Northwest Wyoming 3-0 on Friday, while defeating the Sheridan College Lady Generals 3-1 (25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 25-23) on Saturday.

EWC took the lead at 20-19, and a Faith Banks ace secured the game one win.

In game two, a Karsen Dingman kill gave the Lady Lancers a 24-23 advantage, but coming out of a Sheridan timeout, the Lady Generals scored the final three points to tie the game up at one apiece.
