Lady Blazers wins four in Scottsbluff

TORRINGTON – The No. 4 Torrington Lady Trailblazers lost in the battle of Class 3A top five ranked teams on Thursday as the No. 5 Glenrock Lady Herders won 3-2 (16-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-8, 15-11).

The Lady Blazers scored the first point of the game, before Glenrock tied the score at 6-6. THS took advantage of a Glenrock kill that went long to take a 15-14 lead, before finishing game one on a 10-2 scoring run.

In game two, the Lady Herders scored the first two points, but the Lady Blazers responded with two straight scores. Torrington led briefly at 11-10, but Glenrock scored the next three points.
