CHEYENNE – Staff Sgt. Travis Wood, of Cedar City, Utah, retired from the Wyoming Army National Guard recently following a medical discharge due to injuries sustained while deployed to Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, in 2006.
He most recently served as mechanic with the 960th Maintenance Company in Torrington. He also served in the 133rd Engineer Company in Laramie.
