Going purple on Alzheimer’s Action Day

The Alzheimer’s Care Center in Torrington opened in 2009. The Alzheimer’s Unit currently has 28 residents, while the center has 75. Howe said the Banner Health Alzheimer’s Institute is “not too far from making some great headway” against the disease.
