Lady Blazer gets tie for fourth at state

Beth Sandlian shot a two-day total of 181 to finish tied for fourth in the Class 3A State Wyoming Golf Tournament last weekend.

WORLAND – The Torrington Trailblazers golf team wrapped up its fall season at the Wyoming Class 3A State Tournament over the weekend.

The Lady Blazers placed both golfers in the top 15.

Beth Sandlian fired a first round 86 to place her in second after the first day. The round was Sandlian’s personal best.

Sandlian shot a 95 for a two-day total of 181, which was a two-day personal best according to coach Jeff Halley. That placed here in a tie for fourth. Sara Kostur finished 13th at 198. Sarah Schroefel of Worland won the tournament at 168.
