LINGLE – For the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers football team on Friday, it was win one play at a time, and that would be the case for the first half, before the Doggers came up short losing 36-24 to the No. 2 Niobrara County Tigers.
On the opening drive and less than three minutes into the game, the Doggers’ Lane Hageman gave LFL an early 8-0 lead on a 19-yard touchdown run.
The Tigers responded by taking the ensuing kickoff back 82 yards for a touchdown. The Doggers stopped the two-point conversion just shy of the goal line.
