Tennis teams prepare for state tourney

CHEYENNE – The Torrington Trailblazers tennis teams traveled to Cheyenne for the regional tennis tournament last weekend.

Although every player in the regional tournament qualifies for the state tournament, this tournament is used for seeding purposes.

Josh Ring defeated Josh Hansen (Rock Springs) 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 in the first round, before losing his next two matches.

No. 2 singles player, Cameron Kelly won his first two matches before losing in the championship game to Sung Hun Cho (Laramie), 7-6, 6-3.
