Local fire department gets new 3-quarter ton truck

Photo/ Adam Louis - Chesapeake Energy and Westco contributed a new truck to the Torrington Volunteer Fire Department. Fire Chief Jeremy Wardell said the vehicle would be used as a multi-purpose unit.

TORRINGTON – The newest addition to the Torrington Volunteer Fire Department fleet was on display at the Goshen County Fairgrounds during Safe Kids Day and Festival on Sept. 8.

Chesapeake Energy donated a company truck to the TVFD: a three-quarter ton Chevrolet.
