Oil containment drill on Laramie River successful

FORT LARAMIE – Workers with energy company Kinder Morgan had an early start Wednesday morning, running an annual emergency response drill on the Laramie River near the Fort Laramie National Historic Site.

Operations technician Alan Jones, of Guernsey, said the early morning test was successful. The drill included the deployment of a containment boom.
