Alum gleans life lessons from livestock shows

TORRINGTON – John Simmons learned an important life lesson from a bull gone rogue.

The 84-year-old Gleaner’s Union Club alum visited with the current 4-H Gleaner’s Union Club recently at City Park, re-living his days in the 4-H with his champion cattle.
