Terry Wagner’s letter, authored by his cousin Kelly Reinhardt, was short on facts and long on innuendo, tripe, half-truths, allusions and shear drivel.
When there is a lack of reason or fact then people without reason resort to personal attacks laced with name calling hoping that those they attack will lower themselves to their level.
I was never and never have claimed to be an AT&T president. The last eight years before retirement, 1982 to 1990, I was the Western Region spokesman on divestiture, out of San Francisco. That is two or three steps below vice president. I never cared to know as I loved my job.
I am not anyone’s press secretary, and I don’t discuss my letters with Mayor Mike Varney before but sometimes after when he disagrees on something I wrote.
I didn’t have Mayor Varney’s support when I spoke with CEO’s of the Western Region’s corporations large or small. I was on my own and subject to my division level and Western Region vice president’s criticism.
I learned most everything I needed for a great life from the nuns and priests at St. Joseph’s Orphanage 1941 to 1953, when I left on my own and entered Torrington High School and additionally from the wonderful teachers and classmates I had at THS.
In another paper Kelly Reinhardt said yours truly “can’t figure out if he is the press secretary for the mayor, the ex-president of a major communication firm, the child the nuns had to beat daily or just another dummy.”
He also asked if I, chief two winds blowing, could “take the mayor back to the reservation and make him a profit, seems with enough booze he could be make some kind of sense, at least until someone sobers up.”
These two are who are pushing Norman Vogel for City Council. Think about that. Terry and Kelly your letter is 90 percent wrong.
I would recommend you stick to what one of you do so very well, selling flowers at Wagner Floral.
